She attended boarding school in London between the ages of seven and nine, after which her family moved to Toronto, Canada, where she lived the bulk of her early childhood and adulthood. This play was named the top production in Canada by reviewers. The opportunity was presented to her to enroll in the Stratford Conservatory. The school allows only eight males as well as four female students to study the art of classical theatre. Contractor was ecstatically accepted. Her place was guaranteed during the upcoming play, and she landed Hermia's part as Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
